I realise the answer might be that that it is basically random from day to day, but are there any of the Cardiff Central to Treherbert diagrams that should definitely (subject to nothing untoward happening during the day) be sprinters rather than pacers?

    Thank you.

You can NEVER say definitely. Diagrams don't always operate as planned and you could get a pair of Pacers one day and a 150 the next. They should be roughly half and half.

From my observations, the Treherbert line just seems to get whatever's available. I've seen 150/pacer combinations sometimes, and a single 142 others. It does seem to be roughly half and half though, in my experience Penarth to Bargoed tends to be more pacer heavy.

I know the 1017 Treherbert to Cardiff is a pair of Pacers, rynning fast via the City Line.
