I'm just wondering, why part of todays services, especially in the south and south east, weren't running as Saturday services...
Yes, I get that engineering works were taking place, and that staffing levels might not have been upto scratch for a Saturday service to take place - but the jubilee has been planned for months now, and it seems strange to me that on such an occasion, there just didn't seem to be the right stock levels to get passengers where they wanted to be.
As I mentioned firstly, I'm not talking about a full Saturday service, more upto lunchtime, after engineering works, and for return trips for instance.
What gives?
