Today I took a short trip two stations down the line to Winchfield to see the return of the Wednesday's-only, 1Z86, VSOE (Venice Simplon Orient Express) to Bath Spa. After alighting from the train, I could see the 67 at the next signal down the line from the footbridge. Unfortunately the sun was in the wrong place so my photo wasn't too successful when facing it coming into the station so I didn't use it. It's stop at Winchfield, 8 minutes, is usually for a a steam locomotive to top up with water when steam hauled as far as I know.
