I noticed today at Spring Road, one of the diamonds in the WMR logo is in the wrong place on every single sign! I doubt that they'll replace it, but it just looks a bit messy...

It is now confirmed that Malvern Link and Ledbury have WMR signage with Cotswolds & Malverns Line branding.
I was at Malvern Link yesterday and the signs were still the old London Midland design.

Thanks for the updates.

Going off on a slight tangent, I noticed that there's green and blue fencing next to the platform at Northfield Station which I assume is from Central Trains days. It means there's examples of three different corporate brands there!

There are plenty of stations where fences/fencing has not been touched and left as is.

Just heard some news

According to a member of LNR staff the 350/1s are now gonna start being taken out of service 1 at a time for refurbishment

Still no news on status of 106 or 123

However 115 has been taken out of service again for an unspecified reason

Leads me to believe 115 only returned due shortages of units available for service

Why are NO 350/2s being done into new livery and why are 350/1s taking ages to be done as we were promised a start on refurbishment in May and should be about 1/2 complete, but it's not, why? Also why was WMR relivery so much quicker than LNR

The 350/2 will be leaving the franchise so full rebranding is not justified.
Presumably both fleets are being reliveried by the same people so it makes sense to do the larger fleet first.

The 350/2s are the largest fleet with 37 and 350/1s with 30. Hopefully 106 is out soon

Just because both operators are under the same umbrella, doesn't mean that each depot is an operational clone of another. I'm stumped as to why the 350/2 re-livery programme has stopped, but the 350/1 refurbishment has not been without its problems. (A contact of mine who works in Kings Heath Depot said that WMT weren't happy with the refurb spec on the first 350/1 refurb; it's been going through the motions since then.)
WMR also maintain their units in-house (i.e. by WMR fitters/engineers), while the LNWR 350s (and 319s) are all maintained by Siemens, who seem justifiably more focused on the reliability of their fleet rather than their colour.

Why are NO 350/2s being done into new livery and why are 350/1s taking ages to be done as we were promised a start on refurbishment in May and should be about 1/2 complete, but it's not, why? Also why was WMR relivery so much quicker than LNR

350/115 being that first refurbished unit which i presume WMT weren’t happy with the way it turned out so took it out of service again and then kept 123 and 106 out of service also with 106 having its full LNR livery removed for some reason?

At least they kept their promise of the first refurbished unit being out in August even if it was only out for 2 days

LNR say their program is ongoing and apparently their will be 1 unit in and out every week so when that will start is anybody’s guess?
