From a distance you wouldnt notice the doors arent green (except the cab of course that sticks out)

i wonder why they have rebranded that unit now? (Cause it was a definite rush job) and where did it have the works done? Cant have been long marston surely?

I saw both Long Marston moves yesterday. Taken in was 350102 and brought out 350129. Don't believe 350130 in the program as yet.
350130 was seen in traffic on the 21st at Northampton.

Thanks for correcting me - I saw a pic online last night which claimed it was 57305+350130, obviously an error in the caption, and I can't find it now!

Presumably measuring up the sign before ordering was too much effort...looks awful.

(Attached image of running in board at Bletchley just plonked on top of the badly painted old one)

Reminds me of when London Midland put up new station signs at Acton Bridge. They went to the effort of putting up brand new signs, but only painting and labelling half of them! So you had half the station signs just white posts and black boards. Not very helpful to see when on the train  Looked like that for years, often wondered why they didn’t finish them off, having done the hard bit!

Yes I saw that photo. The unit appears to carry no numbers above the driver or second man's windows.

Sutton Coldfield, Shenstone and Lichfield City now appear to all be in WMR signage. Butlers Lane and Four Oaks are still only partly done.
Sutton Coldfield running boards say "Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield"
Lichfield City running boards have the info box saying"Birthplace of Samuel Johnson"

As the thread is locked I'll ask here...

Is west mids trains proposing the same as SWR.. that a guard is guaranteed (unlike southern) safety crit (unlike southern) but with the driver operating the doors (like Southern )

I'm almost certain that's what they're saying, yes. They only ever asked for DCO.

Already here and being used. The 0737 from LBZ to EUS had a 350/4 as the middle unit of a 12 carriage set. Think it was 350/401 but i didn’t get a good look as I was just walking onto the platform.

Will see if I can see it when I get into Euston.

350/113 has returned internal refurbishment done and like 116 has not had the exterior work done yet

102 and 103 have also returned but refurbished status is currently unknown
102 and 103 have returned....I’ll find out what’s been done to them. 101 is still away. That one was already in the white livery but had not been refreshed internally.

Heard on the twitter page that some services will remain short formed due to delays in the transfer of the remaining 350/4s also

350401 entered service yesterday. They do have enough 350/4s, but they need to be modified in LNR use. By January they will have them in service. That’s what they said.
