350130 hasn't been touched at all AFAIK. It was still in battered LM livery when last seen just before Christmas.

Are Siemens refurbishing the 350's? If so are they hiring the space at Chrysalis rail in Long Marston?

Not 100% sure but Long Marston is only doing the corrosion repairs. Internal refurb is being done at Bletchley I believe.

350/1 progress: 126 is done

Slow progress. No new livery on 350/1's yet.
350126 back from Long Marston and in service, 350129 moves from Bletchley MD to Kings Heath today after refurbishment.

No other units away at present.

350402 is in LNWR livery, not sure of finished though.

350408 is in complete LNWR livery as is 350403.

I think this only leaves 350409 to be done

350117 gone away for corrosion repair so will no doubt appear in a couple of weeks in undercoat.

Interior refresh program suspended due to shortage of rolling stock. Awaiting arrival of remainder of Mark 4 units.

I know 350/2s are leaving and 350/4s are being repainted externally but why is there such slow progress on the 350/1s?

Its already been said in the thread. The progress is slow due to shortage of availability which has led to the refurbishment programme being suspended until all 350/4s are in service

Because they’re older units - the /4s and /3s are newer (2013/14 builds) so they don’t require corrosion repair and repainting, just the vinyls and interior refurbishment. The /1s were built in 2004/5 and haven’t been repainted during LM’s time (they’ve only been vinyled into LM livery), hence more work is required for them.

When I was at Worcester Foregate street the other day only some of the Worcester Foregate Street name signs were WMR ones, some of the signs further down the platform were still London Midland ones. Have those now been changed as well?

Lampposts in the carpark at Selly Oak have been repainted in black, white and orange but at Rowley Regis they are still grey. There does not appear to be any difference in the ownership of the car parks between the two stations. Any thoughts on this, anyone?

I'm only going by pictures I've seen off Flickr & other photo sites, so you probably know better than I do!

The signs under the canopy have been replaced but the large LM one along the brick wall remains in situ.

I spotted 350409 at Manchester Oxford Road in LNWR livery with the 1st class stripe forming the delayed 0821 to Manchester Airport (0422 from Glasgow Central). Very unusual to see a newly rebranded train on the 'wrong' lease - usually it's the other way round.

Seeing a 350 in LNWR on TPE metals seems to be the status quo at the moment, until there are enough 397s accepted (see the 397 thread for more details). But that does however complete the rewrap of the 350/4s, so thanks for the update!

Can confirm that Stratford Parkway to The Lakes (inclusive) now ALL have WMR running boards/signage. I think only Stratford-upon-Avon itself remains, probably as refurbishment work is still ongoing there.

I'm quite surprised WMT haven't published any media, marketing or even a time-lapse video showing their refurbishment!
