Would be nice to have fake-leather headrests with a dark grey colour like that. Makes it look loads classier.

Perhaps a 350 refurb would include headrests like that, as seems to have been the case on the Siemens 185 interior refurbs.

350372 is now out in the new livery and 350370 is scheduled for release on Saturday.

I've heard the plan for the 3s is that 371 or 376 will go in on Sat 29th, the one which doesn't go in on Sat will follow on Sat 6th October then 373 to be rebranded the week of the 13th October. From then on 2 /2s will be done at a time.
The /1s need further work on the bodies before they are done.

Ooh is it cororion type repairs like the /2s were having at Long Marston?

Also, is any interior refresh (e.g. new seats fabrics or possibly removing the old trolley store) likely to be done when the /1s eventually go in for revinyl, or later?

Yes I believe it is the same work as the/2s have had, the /1s also require a full bodywork overhaul too though.

I've been told a refurb plan is still at the design stage for the 350 fleet so no idea what it contains.

350232 is now out in the interim livery. It has also lost it's stick on name plate, 370 also has leaving 377 as the only named 350.

323218 now tangoed. Oddly 323221 has had the original partial livery alteration, i.e. grey front below numbers. This eliminates the original all green fronted units.
Haven't seen any "non tangoed" two car 170's, so assume they've completed them.

On the station side Northampton and Leighton Buzzard both had the decorators in today repainting the lampposts and furniture green.

Thanks for the update there Mark, IIRC the remaining 170/5s in green are 513 & 517. The 323 details are being updated too.

Ahh thanks @sd0733, adding those in too.

I don't know if this is the same one but there is a 323 with some gray doors and some orange doors. It was on the 16:05 from New Street to Lichfield

That would most likely be a West Midlands Railway liveried 323 coupled to a London Midland liveried 323.

The service was two sets with a LM 323 at the rear and the front set as I described above being partially finished.

I actually quite like that. Not sure about the golden wrap-around at the vehicle ends, but if it didn't have an incongruous gangway connection at the front that'd actually be quite smart.

I personally think that it's one of the best current UK liveries going, definitely a significant improvement over the interim scheme.

Also I lose track, but has it been noted that 350253 now wears the interim LNWR scheme?
