As title really, what as opinions of daily commute Glasgow Central-East Kilbride?

Is the rolling stock clapped-out?
Is there an FC section?
Are the trains rammed with wee neds (or indeed the 'big men')?

It will be 156 operated and in my (admittedly limited) experience Scotrail 156s are some of the worst around. There will be no first class. Not a clue on the last point.

Of all the things that could make commutiing grim I don't think that the lack of first class is one of them. Its a 34 minute journey :)

It is absolutely fine, rarely much in the way of neds, but the services are pretty busy all day. I wouldn't call it grim, though perhaps a touch boring.
