Yes. 43313 was the power car damaged when it was hit by an 08 at Bounds Green.

It's certainly repairable (replacement cab needed), just not worth doing with so many power cars stored.

Correct - and via Trowbridge/Bath/Bristol as opposed to the plan of reversing at Westbury and running via Castle Cary.

43208 is on 1M49 1153 Plymouth to Birmingham today (with 43366).

208 was booked to work 1M49 today with 366, but the set was declared a failure at Plymouth and the service was cancelled. Anyone know what the fault actually was? RTT just says problem with the traction.

Part of 1V61 Bristol TM to Plymouth is reinstated but with a 4 car voyager so nobody get hopes up.

Surely they have got more than one set ready and operational at Laira, as there are only 2 XC HST’s out on other services apart from the Birmingham circular 1M49/1V61? That surely leaves them with 3 rakes of coaches and now 8 power cars to choose from (subject to maintenance)?

It's not just a case of pick a random set and send it on it's way. At least One will be in for Maintenance. One broken and there could be any number of reasons why the other set is unavailable.
