Just having a look at this topic, What's with Northern using the 321s on the Aire Valley? I've noticed this a lot in recent weeks. Are they short of 333s?

Also, having a Burger crap King for breakfast???? You must be desperate....

There is one diagram a day booked for 321's - 17.20 off Leeds to Skipton and 18.16 back.

I know I missed breakfast! BK was the first thing I found! It wasnt too bad though.

You certainly get about a bit!!

Any chance of advance itineries - then we may be able to bump into you on your travels?

BTW, I see there are some non-YP tickets in your ticket collection, presumably bought before 10am. The way round this is to buy a ticket to go further so you can get a Saver, then you can get a discount (e.g. a York-bradford Saver return is cheaper than a York-Leeds single or day return). I used to make that journey often at peak time and saved a few hundred quid doing that.

Some of the photos are from when I didnt have a YP which is normally why, I used a little naughty trick today, SDS Hudds - Leeds is £3.45 yet £3.25 to Shipley. Simply leave the station at Leeds, but as I was off to Carlisle today I used it all the way to Shipley.

My visits can often be a bit hit or miss, I tend to just sit with Timetables and plan a few days before I wanna go.
For the rest of this one its looking like:
Tommorow: Hudders - Liverpool - blitz around Liverpool/Southport etc, back home via Ormkirk, Preston and Halifax.
Friday: Think probably Hexham and Lockerbie, not sure yet.
Saturday: Stalybridge Parlimentary, Clitheroe etc.

Some interesting photos, I like this one:

Thanks, first time I've actually be IN the Airport despite going to the station a fair bit! It was very very quiet though maybe that was the fog?!!

There's a greasy spoon just on the approach road outside Man Picc with does Bacon butties to takeaway. They also do a full sit down breakfast swimming in fat for about £3 too I think.

http://jst.fotopic.net/p37083509.html - All Stations along the WCML (Served by Virgin) are supposedly getting theses style Departure Boards, including Macclesfield.

Nice pics and an interesting journey. :) I find Sainsbury's Local or Greggs (Station Approach Road) good for a breakfast. ;)
