York based Sandite Workings

[Humberside]

Ive just got my copy of the Railway Herald and it mentions DRS are doing sandite workings out of York this Autumn. Could anyone tell me what routes are involved - in particular around Barnetby/South Humberside?

There are some earlier in more central yorkshire eg early evening arond sheffield!

I gather the timings at York are reasonable too - after the overnight jaunt, both trains should get back around breakfast time, setting off again around 15.00-16.00. I just hope they start running soon, before the dark mornings and evenings draw in!

They were meant to start last week , but have been put back to the Dark november.

What routes do they take around Barnetby? Do they go as far as Immingham/Cleethorpes?
