Please can someone advise on the cheapest return to London, 1 adult no railcards. Arriving in London by 10.00 on 1st March. Departure from London any time on 1st March after 04.00. Returning 1st March any time in the afternoon after 14.00. Any route is fine. The cheapest I can find direct is £112 out and £38 return direct. Thanks

Peterborough to London Kings Cross - £50 anytime single (same train arrives into Kings Cross @ 9:37)

Then the 14:30 to York for £38

If you book via the Visit England promo link, you can knock a third off the advance prices (£6.90 for York to Peterborough, £26.20 from King's Cross to York.) No discount on the outward Peterborough to King's Cross though.
