Looking to travel late Autumn from York - Penzance, Friday night including the sleeper from Paddington, then the reverse journey Sunday night, catching the 06.15 Kings Cross - York Monday morning. We can be flexible on times York - London Friday evening. So could depart any time from 16.00 onwards. 1 adult and 3 children with a family railcard.

What’s the best value way to book this kind of ticket please? Separate tickets York - London and London - Penzance? Any fare tips? Thanks in advance.

Presumably you want sleeper berths rather than seats? How old are the children?
