Hi Beaker! <D
You can always link directly to your videos by using the link that YouTube provides on the video page. This always takes the form of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= followed by a random looking ASCII string to identify the video in question. If you want people to find your videos easily (I.E: From your forum signature), the best thing to do would be to add a link to your YouTube profile page, which in your case is http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=RodgersRail, viewable here. Taking the chance for a shameless plug, I've got a few vids here...Although please don't take offence to the LuL one - It's just a tongue in cheek thing that I did! :)
(I'm an ex-LuL employee anyway and my father still is, so it's not like I take the song to heart! 8))

When it comes to searching for videos, YouTube only really looks at the tags that you set in your videos, therefore in all of the videos that I've created, I add "DieselDragon" (My YouTube username) to the tag box. That, and it can take up to five days for the video information to be passed around YouTube's search systems as well.

Hope this helps! <D
