There are some great models coming out in the next couple of months; bachmann 85, EPB, Hornby 423, Bachmann BAA, OTA, FNA....

But for stuff that hasn't come out yet of needs re-tooling my wish list for 2012 would include:

Bachmann class 205 NSE
Bachmann class 117 blue/grey and Regional Rail.

Hornby 87 in early IC
Hornby 86 in ealry IC
re-tooled Hornby 90 in Railfreight

Heljan 'Ferrywaggon' in VTG and Tiphook.

....I forgot a most important one. Now that they are finally releasing electric units in great details such as the EPB, it would be excellent to see Bachmann release the 304/305/308 variants :) then hopefully move onto the 309 and 310.

Bachmann class 205 NSE

I am tempted to pre-order the Kernow/Bachmann Class 205 in Connex (http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.co...mann_Class_205_2H_Thumper_Unit_number_205_012) only because i remember this company and never got a change to throw eggs at them...with the model i can lols.

Sorry seriously! The plans for the 205 in NSE look great, the same designer who oversaw the CEP and EPB is overseeing the 2H/205 project too :) Shame the NSE is going to be in the 2nd batch now.

Now regarding this thread generally. Great to see there are other out there who want what i want!

You know..Real Track Models recently asked on RMWeb what would people like to see them manafacturer in the future. All mentioned on here were mentioned to them :)

The future is bright, the future is RTM!

ok, so my wishlist:

  • a completely overhauled, up to date eurostar. (there is so much wrong with it i could start a whole topic :P) (maybe with a promotional livery version like the da vinci code)
  • the missing carriages for the eurostar ( there only really needs to be 3 new moulds since r3-5 and 7-8 are essentially the same except seating)
  • class 375 in southeastern (i would have thought this would be fairly easily convertible to a 377 for southern and fcc and even a 378 and 376 for more choice)
  • class 465
  • class 466 in southeastern
  • class 171 in southern both 2 car and 4 car versions (as with the 375 this could probably be adapted for 172's without much difficulty)
not really fussed as to who does what.

:)

I know! Even putting aside all the other things that are wrong with it the fact you can only run a six car eurostar next to a full 395 or that you have the option to run a full pendolino but not eurostar seems absurd to me.

To be fair, not many people have room for a full Eurostar (even a regional one) on their layouts, even when they can fit a Pendilino or full 125/225 set, but six coaches only is a bit poo.

I have one like the one in my avatar, 6 coaches up to now, I want more but they are all the same, there are now restaurant coaches etc. There was a kit available somewhere but all sold out (and far too expensive) so I'm left in a pickle! We need a new eurostar, DCC with sound because they sound amazing when fired up!

like you said not many people can run a full pendo or 125/225 but the option is there for those that can. Besides, like i said there are only three cars missing and two of those are basically the same expect seating. so they'd only need three new different products.

the kit is from hurst models and even that is innacurate if you look at it! It does come back into stock every so often though.

Olivias trains does a brilliant dcc sound kit for the eurostar. He's on youtube under: http://www.youtube.com/user/legomanbiffo

I've only got one new one I'd want and suprised it hasn't already been done and that's the Class 375/377. One variant in SET livery, and the 377 in Southern livery.

They've been around for sometime and suprised Hornby or Bachmann have not considered it, as they've done 'Turbostars' that have been around equally the same amount of time. (If they're reading this hopefully it will give them some ideas!)

Although the model already exists, I think Bachmann should release a NSE liveried CEP as personally I think it would sell even better and would make a nice addition along with Hornbys 4VEP.

Class 334 and 318 (refurbished) in Carmine and Cream.

Class 156, 170 and 158 Saltire.

Class 43 HST in NXEC White/Silver

A class 334 would be cool! What about the new Class 380's? Not that pretty to be honest.
