For general compositions I use my trusty Lumix DMC-TZ6; its focal-range and capable sensor have yielded some cracking shots

When I need extra-capable kit, I use fast monochrome film (Fuji's Neopan is my favourite) in my bulletproof Canon Eos1v HS, with lenses up to 800mm. Mounted on a heavyweight ManFrotto monopod, it's nigh-on indestructible!

Cool, Sounds good.
How long have you been using these?

As said above I have a Nikon D80 but I have been thinking about upgrading to the Nikon D5000, The D5000 also Supports Video Recording.

Canon 500D - does for me for the price, and a second hand 300V film camera. I actually haven't had any pictures developed from it yet so no idea how good it is. Also had a SX110 before I dropped it.

Main camera is currently a Canon 30D with 24-105 L lens though I also have a Canon 350D with 28-85 lens and use of a Canon G10. In the next few months I will be looking to replace the 30D with a Canon 5Dii and will probably px the 350D and lens at the same time.

Nikon Coolpix L2 for stills or Toshiba Camileo Pro HD for vids - May get an SLR at some point but for most of my purposes a compact is enough

I Mostly use my Nikon D200 (Second hand off Ebay) with an 18-70mm lense and sometimes an 55-200mm.

If taking quick videos i just use my Sony Erriccson W995 Moblie Phone, and if you search for Cray1996 you should be able to see some off my Video's from Wolverhampton Station.

I have just purchased a Fujifilm S1500 after the failure of my trusty canon point and shoot which lasted five years and 9000 photos. I'm surprised that most on here appear to use bridge/SLR cameras, there are only a few who you can usually make you think "good camera" (that or "good photoshopping") on the resultant fotopic plugs...

I've been using casio point and shoot cameras (not a slr since the good ones cost too much for me). I started with two cheap digital cameras then when onto a Casio EX - S 600, then onto a Casio EX S880 and I'm now using a Casio EX H15 (which seems to better than the last two, although i haven't used that much and still getting used to it!)

Although sometimes when my camera battery had run out I have even used my phone (Nokia 5800) to take some videos, although they came out fairly well considering its a phone!

I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500. Which I like because it's a good camera, but i can have with with me in my pocket most of the time.
I don't have a DSLR, because if I had the money to get a good one (relative term in this case, obviously), I would be spending it on something else.

Nikon D700 with 17-35mm, 28-70mm and 70-210mm. As heavy as the Bismarck and as reliable as a Swiss watch!

And then the Blackberry is always in my pocket!

Looks like Nikon have the rail market cornered... I also use a Nikon - D90, but my backup is a Panasonic Lumix TF-1 - 28mm wide angle, HD video (720p), but the real feature - it's waterproof - properly waterproof, like go swimming waterproof, so when the heavens open, I still keep shooting with it.

Well, you could give me Lewis Hamiltons F1 car, but I wouldn't even be close to any of those guys performances.
I have two Canon 450Ds with a Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 28-135IS, Canon 50mm f1.8, Canon 70-300IS and a Vivtar 200mm f3.5 (manual focus and aperture lens). I absolutely love photography and all the challenges it brings, hopefully after a bit of saving I'll be upgrading some of the lenses with two that cost £2k combined, but hey, I usually shoot 15000 images a year.

My current camera is a Fuji Finepix S5600, 5mp, 10x optical zoom, too big and bulky to be carried everywhere!

One of my recent collections on my Fotopic (Refurbished 465235) contains pictures that were taken using my BlackBerry, they're not as bad as I thought they would be, being only 3.2mp!

I use a Kodak M320, valued at £160 (bought for £100 less). It has a 3x Optical Zoom and up to 1,000 ISO setting, and is capable of 9MP. And it's small enough to fit in my inside fleece pocket! It also has video and panoramic shot facilities, although its battery life leaves a little to be desired...

Just bought a Canon AV-1 film camera, to try out b+w a bit more. Anyone got/used one of these before?

I've had a Minolta X300 for years, and don't intend to stop using it until it breaks completely or Fuji stop making Velvia 100DL

Had my trusty Fuji S5600 from Mid 2006 until Jan 2010 until I decided an upgrade was required.

Now have the Nikon D90 with the following lenses:

-18-105mm F3.5-5.6
-70-300mm F4.0-5.6

My current camera is a Fuji Finepix S5600, 5mp, 10x optical zoom, too big and bulky to be carried everywhere!

466networker I though the same of my S5600 that it was bulky but saying that it was managable to carry everywhere most of the time. I remember when I picked up the
S5600 one evening not long after I got the D90. I thought the S5600 was puny! It felt so strange in my hand compared to the D90.

I use a Centon DF-300 ( yes - a 35mm film camera! ) with standard 50mm lens, in fully manual mode.
