My last train trip of 2019 was the 19:22 from London Paddington back to Oxford (First Class) on a 9-car IET which, due to the tragedy at Maidenhead, was 35-40 minutes late. I didn't do a delay repay as a persons family and friends would have a significantly worse Christmas.

Also GWR did excellent at Paddington remaining calm to people asking about their trains!

Also, the 19:22 was the biggest delayed train I caught in 2019 (and since on a CrossCountry service on the 13/09/19 which due to an axle counter failure was also 35-40 minutes late).

My last train of 2019 was a Santa Special on the East Lancs Railway. Bizarrely this was also my FIRST train of 2019 - I don't live very near a station!
