I wouldn’t worry too much. Anything can go wrong with any form of transport it’s just one of those things. Personally it’s train every time for me.

We recently had Rishi and his team travel on an early morning service out of Liverpool St. Catering was provided (the particular train didn’t have any booked) and the unit was specially cleaned & prepared. It was also held over and swapped back into service for his return journey.

The only time that would happen is if the driver was ignored if refusing to have him up front. I would be exactly the same. More than welcome in my train as nothing I could do about that but that’s as close to my cab as he would get, no discussion.

There is such a contrast between how younger and more established drivers look at this. I know the thread is more geared for new entrants to the profession but just thought I’d highlight the difference in how we all look at such things
