Be nice to see what locos we all have and to see the periods that people tend to model more. Now although i have a small fleet i have a small layout too.

Steam:

- Merchant Navy Class 35029 'Ellerman Lines'
- GWR 54xx Tank 4550
- GWR 0-4-0T 101
- LNER J83 8474
- LNER 0-4-0T 2606

Diesel:

- BR Class 37/0 D6707
- BR Class 55 55002 'The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry'

Evidently so, there is a mix of operaters but I am aiming for the BR transistion period.

Nooooooooooooo 50's aren't southern locos!
They were built as an interim measure for the LMR's electrification project while the northern section hadn't been completed. After that they transferred to the Western region and were predominantly WR machines when bought outright by BR (they were originally leased off English Electric, a prelude of things to come??).

They were displaced to the Southern region because of the massive influx of HSTs to the Western, yet still remained allocated 1:3ish to OC/LA until withdrawels started in 1980s, which saw OC rid itself of its remaining 50s to LA.

It's widely renowned that Southern drivers only knew 2 notches on the 50s. "off" and "full" which lead to the appalling reliability problems and their demise.

Little history lesson there, some bits may be wrong but meh nobody's perfect!

Anyway my loco list is:

Hornby:
50002 NSE / 50007 GWR / 50035 BR Large logo

Bachmann:
66135 / 08something EWS / 5xMk1 NSE coaches

EDIT: Beako beat me to it!

Quite a lot, and most of it is going on ebay soon, some really nice examples to high standards, some of the limiteds are a medip rail class 59, numerous wagons, tinsley twins, a few lima limited 47's. I will post the link once im going with it.

Have to be honest, these lists make my stock look quite pathetic. Then again i don't exactly take pride in owning two Hornby club models either. Hopefully though im going to get D8134 as an addition to my BR diesel fleet, at least i can start from sratch with that

Well we'll put that claim to the test, infront of all these witnesses the last thing that I told you I would get was either a Class 20 or a 25 either BR green (naturally). We'll see if it happens or how long i can last otherwise!

I'm not listing my fleet, I have so many gauges I wouldn't know where to begin!!

Now im curious :(, maybe your OO fleet? Appears that we are all most OO gauge modelers anyway, but its good to see some N around.

Chertsey, a pathetic town in the south
right heres a list of the 00 kettles in my collection.

MN Holland Afrika Line.....rare as f***
MN Clan Line
WC Bideford, a hornby bulleid of the old skool variety.
WC Biggin Hill, a right hodge podge of bits, airfix body, triang chassis.
Bachmann 4MT mogul
Bachmann LMS Ivatt tank, wanted the push-pull one but couldn't get it.
Mainline J72, weathered by moi.
Hornby collectors tanks=about 5 of the things. The little CR blue Caley pug has a rather decent scratchbuilt tender.
Hornby 1400, with the necessary autocoach.
Hornby Pug, bashed into a Peckett industrial thing
Toby, bit of fun, a ERTL diecast toy mounted on Tenshodo SPUD.
Hornby Terrier, Freshwater, the very first Hornby Terrier version.
Flying Scotsman, I actually have two of these but one is 3 rail.
A4 Bittern, first 2 rail engine. Blasted thing converted me from my 3 rail.
Triang 3F.
Hornby Pannier.
Hornby J94, crap, always needs cleaning. Heavily weathered by moi.
Smokey Joe (made an absolute point of getting one when I was 7)
Hornby N2, on loan to 960012, heavily weighted by latter, runs amazingly, not used much on the Ambridge branch, due to poor bunker first running.

the final one isn't mine (its dads), but its pretty treasured none the less. Its an old Brittania, Royal Star, and is allegedly the very last loco to be made at Margate. Obviously thats up for conjecture, but its nice to think it is! I believe it is, because when I took it out of the box to look at (run) it, it was AWFULLY put together, I had to go over it tightening everything up but it runs really well now. We keep it mint boxed.

My Swedish collection is as follows (we're onto HO scale now btw)
T21 shunter, huge jackshaft thing thats a repaint from a German loco. Runs superbly. Piko.
Z14, this is a dodge freelance thing. Basically a Triang Dock Authority painted in SJ livery and mounted on a Tenshodo Spud.
K, lovely little quaint 0-6-0 tender engine, with 4 wheel tender. Rivarossi French loco hacked about a bit and painted black.
Da, big jackshaft electric loco. Fleischmann, blummin rare, worth about £500 but bought for 85 ;).
Z67, Fleischmann hydraulic shunter repainted.
Y6, resin bodied railbus, pending completion (made the trailer car, have yet to paint power car)

Items of interest:
Radley models Acton Shuttle, 00 gauge. The first kit I've made that actually runs well.
O gauge Rivarossi 0-8-0 shunter. Huge, blummin huge.
O gauge Peckett by Springside, crap, built by me.
O gauge Drewy railcar, pending completion!
00 gauge 2-8-2 live steam. Needs overhaul. for now...crap.
Hornby swallow 225, excellent.
5" metrovick
7 1/4" box.

don't ask me to go into the Hornby Dublo please!!

can you see why i don't buy ready to run anymore?
