Yeah. Although, it does make me wonder how much it would be! Not the whole HST, but just a coach perhaps.

Prehaps anyone whom works for one of the Operators with HSTs would be able to get it at Staff Rates prehps Grand Central Thogh may be the Best to approch.

Not so much a HST but still a Loco Haulge ATWs Mk3 Coaches Hauled By there Class 57 they may do us a good rate on hiring it out as it doent do much on a Saturday.

Considering the astronimical cost of the WAG express, very unlikely. Also remember that you have to pay for paths, and there is no safety case!

if you get a quote from somewhere like WCRC for some 47s and mk2s that's dear. But hiring an HST from a mainline TOC with none spare would take the biscuit.

I think astronomical cost is fairly self explanatory?

ah so I'm not being stupid then, thought it was self explanatory too!

We'd only need one coach though. So it'd be ATW 57 and one mk3! Wouldn't we look stupid in that!

Run along decent route and operate the rest of the coaches as a railtour to offset the cost of hiring the train a bit

Fifthed...

Looking at NXEC today though, they offer the service of hiring a train off them! See here, subheading "Charter a train"... Crikey!
