Noted 755 420 coming in to Manningtree from the Harwich branch - pan up - but diesel engines also running?

Ah they’ve added it to the database. Will have to start showing Soham rather than Turkey Street when running around ECS or testing.755 412 left empty from Shenfield earlier towards Liverpool St with Soham up as it’s destination.
Would they not have one saying saying something like - oh I don't know - "Not in service" ?.Ah they’ve added it to the database. Will have to start showing Soham rather than Turkey Street when running around ECS or testing.
Bit boring.Would they not have one saying saying something like - oh I don't know - "Not in service" ?.
How about "Nowhere" ?.Bit boring.
That’s not on the database. How about "Nowhere" ?.
It's almost certain that the first train to call at the reopened Soham will be a 755 of course.Ah they’ve added it to the database. Will have to start showing Soham rather than Turkey Street when running around ECS or testing.
It would be a worry if it wasn’t lol. It's almost certain that the first train to call at the reopened Soham will be a 755 of course.
Is there no option on the 755s to manually enter a destination? That’s not on the database.

All GA served stations are available as destination only along with ‘not in service’ if you wish.Is there no option on the 755s to manually enter a destination?
Hmmm... Pity.... I was wondering about someone possibly entering a destination on an empty working as "RAF Luton" ( If you don't know the reference, don't worry... )No, only a fixed list. I personally enjoy whacking Berney Arms on a 745.
It's almost certain that the only public trains to call at Soham for the next two decades or more will be 755s!It's almost certain that the first train to call at the reopened Soham will be a 755 of course.
It is a surprise that "Depot" or equivalent is not there. "Home" and "Thank You NHS" have also been seen other operators. All GA served stations are available as destination only along with ‘not in service’ if you wish.
Agreed. Been a while coming & good units. Well done all involved.Great news. Well deserved positive news.
Still no sign of that being cleared or working in electric mode when coupled to another.Yet to see one work in multiple though in passenger service.
Must a significant software problem, if not resolved after all this time and the amount of testing.Still no sign of that being cleared or working in electric mode when coupled to another.
It’s interesting doing the testing but it just seems to be going on & on & on. Well into 2022 from what what I am led to believe.Must a significant software problem, if not resolved after all this time and the amount of testing.
You could create a new one? The old thread was about introduction to service.Something broke last night, and then the rescue operation seems to have failed too:

Presumably a 745 - Mods can you reopen the thread if so please?
Was a Stansted unit. Did see the number but didn’t really register enough to remember.Something broke last night, and then the rescue operation seems to have failed too:

Well I saw a 2 x 755/4 Colchester to Norwich test run earlier this week. I assume that they still haven't sorted all the software issues for multiple running yet (see post #6865) If they did, 3 X 755/4 would be a useful substitute for a busy 745 diagram, same drivers. With a 2 X 755/4 diagram originally proposed for the Norwich in Ninety runs I believe.I noticed a stop board for a 12 coach Class 755 at Audley End recently. Suggests multiple working was planned at some point. But 3 x 4-car units?
