....
There is a ‘watch’ button you can press at the top right of each thread page and you’ll receive alerts for the thread.....
I wonder if they were candidates who replied to say they would attend, but then never heard back from DB so never actually knew their allocated attendance date!I had the assessment in Doncaster yesterday. There were supposed to be three of us there, but the other two didn't turn up and never made contact to say that they wouldn't be coming.
People usually write F or Following, but also at the top of each page there is a ‘Watch’ button you can press which saves everyone getting a notification for a blank inputMaybe just wants to follow the thread
You’ll probably just get an email invite out of the blue at some point perhaps??I wonder if they were candidates who replied to say they would attend, but then never heard back from DB so never actually knew their allocated attendance date!
I responded to their email on 17th December, the very same day that they notified me of being successful in my application. Complete radio silence in return from HR. Chased it up in January telling them that I was still awaiting notification of an assessment date, but there was still no response. I even checked my spam box daily, just in case!
I'd applied for Eastleigh. Looks like it's dead in the water now
I appreciate this was a few weeks ago now, but in my experience, it’s often good to call them direct rather than relying on emails. I did this when I was waiting on a reply from a DMI with DB a few years ago and they always seemed happy to take phone calls. The fact that I did follow up 10 days ago, and still no response, is a concern. I have checked my junk mail folder daily too - as things can land in there from time to time.
I wouldnt say that as i got an email this week saying that i have an interview via teams on tuesday. I guess when it comes to these things patience is the key.I wonder if they were candidates who replied to say they would attend, but then never heard back from DB so never actually knew their allocated attendance date!

I assume you were a success and are now in the role.I appreciate this was a few weeks ago now, but in my experience, it’s often good to call them direct rather than relying on emails. Good luck. Was happy to receive an email today regarding invitation for driver assessments for the Peak Forest role. Quite surprised how quick given I only applied 2 days ago!

Have you chased it up?3 months ago yes still waiting for result of it.
Ok thanks3 months ago yes still waiting for result of it.
yea they said they want to complete all interviews before giving results.Have you chased it up?
yeah they have replied every time tbf to them i cant really fault them on communication i will phone them tomorrow see how things are going,You actually had a reply......your lucky
unless you hold full passes then you will need to re-sit the lot I think. That’s how they do it. And they do it all in one sitting, no day 1 and day 2 etc.Thank you. They’ve said assessments will happen between 2nd and 25th March. I passed stage 1 with a TOC, so I’m hoping I’ll be progressed to stage 2.
Fair enough. Was hoping to not have to do GB again! Best get practicing.Nope, unless you hold full passes then you will need to re-sit the lot. That’s how they do it. And they do it all in one sitting, no day 1 and day 2 etc.
Group Bourdon is pretty straightforward, it’s the computer tests that I found harder.. I’d passed paper and computer tests previously, just mmi I needed to re sit. But I had to risk sitting the lot again with DB, bit scary when it’s your second life at stake but it is what it is. As long as you can do 9/10 lines clean on GB you are fine.Fair enough. Was hoping to not have to do GB again! Best get practicing.
Was this quite recently? If not, perhaps they have changed their policy. The tester told me that if you haven’t passed everything then you have to sit all the tests again with them.I only sat stage 2 with DB they accepted my stage 1 pass with another TOC as it was within 6 months of the stage 2 assessment
I was told the same, they confirmed this just before Christmas 2021.Was this quite recently? If not, perhaps they have changed their policy. The tester told me that if you haven’t passed everything then you have to sit all the tests again with them.
Yes, mine is for Eastleigh too. It sounds to me like there was a mix-up and you were supposed to be there the same day as me.I wonder if they were candidates who replied to say they would attend, but then never heard back from DB so never actually knew their allocated attendance date!
