I filled the form where they ask national insurance etc yesterday but never received actual SJT to fill.

Do we suppose to receive SJT and send it today by 17.00?

Deadline is to fill in the form by 1700 today. Not aware anyone yet received actual test link from OPC.

The test instructions tell you the total number of questions are 34

You never can tell the outcome. Keep believing

You would expect the pass rate to be around 80% which would be 27 questions right. Could be higher or lower but I would expect that to be a decent score

Literally haha! I’ve done similar things in the past and done okay so fingers crossed!
I actually joined NR and was an apprentice signaller

Your two lives are for the TD psychometrics proper. RAAT (and SCAAT if we do this test also) are pre-screening / pre-psychometric tests only

However, you might find some TOC's operating 2 lives on these RAAT tests for that particular TOC. So for instance, if XC give you two lives on RAAT and you failed twice, you'd likely not be eligible to apply again. But, you could still apply to other TOC's. (I've no idea if this is the case with XC by the way, just using this as a hypothetical)

Fail the driver psychometrics proper twice and yeah, you're out of the running for trainee TD positions across the whole rail industry, unless they change the testing regime like when they dropped the mechanical comprehension test

What I have taken away from previous assessments is that they aren’t necessarily bothered about you completing all the questions. They want to know you can take in information and give correct answers. Quality over quantity.

Are you currently a train driver? You need years of experience in it?

Train manager is a guards role mate
