Blackpool to Manchester needs 6 cars, people are often left on the platforms at rush hour, and the capacity issue though the Castlefield corridor means this is the only way solve the problem (plus they lengthened a few platforms to accommodate the train lengths)
Somehow Kirkham seems to be worse off in the evenings. Unless there are more carriages this may be a very congested route at rush hour, with all trains now going via the Bolton corridor
Just seen this, does this mean we're stuck with the current rolling stock between Blackpool North and Manchester?
