I have also heard this from someone who works for the company. Seems internal rumours are that a big meeting is taking place with a possible announcement of some kind on the 21st
I understood the units very well because I'm competent and able to understand computers very well. They were very, very unreliable. Ask any Thameslink driver.
I know Southeastern weren't blighted with them as much as us at first.
1Q18 (PLPR1/Mentor) does record wired routes in the middle of the day. Perfectly normal.
On this occasion, however, the train will lower the pantograph at Manchester Victoria and will not be recording the new wires.
