    Freightliner Driver Jobs

Which would mean he's either a Yorkshire lad or a Tyne lad. Either way I wouldn't expect him to be fully conversent with Peterborough (sorry Cambridgeshire) diagrams

    Freightliner Driver Jobs

I'm at Peterborough and I really think this Driver is incorrect, Nothing to do with hours !!! Its for terminal time unfortunately DB don't get a choice when they can run in and out, we have to have our slots, and unfortunately the terminal time is too great for one driver to cover.

    Wisbech to March line consultation.

Personally it would be no use to me at all, As a Train Driver, I also personally like to see investment in other areas, ELECTRIFICATION.

    Wisbech to March line consultation.

Again to reiterate, living in Wisbech, Where are all the commuters for Cambridge coming from ?? I personally work in Peterborough, so do most people I know, Amazon provide a dedicated bus service to name but one. Most people here are of East European origin and mainly work in the agriculture...

My company has fuel cards for the van but, we are not allowed to book our own taxis so given a free reign with the fuel...

Train crew should be required to drive between trains rather than have taxis provided

For the OP's comment , First I am on the freight operating side so possibly use taxis more than most. Question then. Who pays for the upkeep of MY car if I'm using it for Business use. Who pays for the insurance as all of a sudden its now not commuting to and from a place of work, its business...

    Animals On Seats

Surely again thats not the fault of the dog, its said owner thats "trained" the animal to be like that. As a Driver myself, I would have a train full of dogs and in 32 years, I have never had a train taken out of service because of dogs. Or looking like my train has endured a food fight...

    Begging getting worse on trains?

And also a word of caution, one of our Drivers at our Depot was accosted by a lady at a London terminus asking for charge, she was homeless, etc. He refused to give her any money, but offered her something to eat, she prompt went to the counter and ordered the most expensive item. and left him...

    The ethics of train strikes

What is it with pay rises ?? More over its the conditions, our colleagues fought for, the government think they can trample over, because they can.
