Had a feeling thats what they are doing but wasnt sure as there appears to be no obvious place on the main platform for the other lift
It also looks like there will be access from the housing estate platform 2 side of the station, not sure why they have put supports on the broken bridge steps...
Anyone know what work they are doing
They are doing some work on the disused platform, they have dug a massive hole and placed steel supports to stop earth slipping
Also therr are supports put on the derelict bridge
Interesting that there is a replacement bus in the morning to Sleaford for Grantham which also calls at Swineshead half an hour after the train has stopped there
The afternoon you have to go to Boston then come back again
Not available anymore only tickets to LNER stations now
There was a strange one as well years ago from Downham Market to Swaffham which took you on the train to Ely, then Ely to Peterborough for the X1 bus from there to Swaffham
Other ones I know of is another Peterborough one this time Stagecoach X4 to Corby, you can also buy through tickets to St Ives in Cambridgeshire
Then we have a big one Stagecoach X5 Cambridge, St Neots, Bedford, Milton Keynes to Oxford
Yes Kings Lynn to Hunstanton you can buy through tickets and with a network railcard as well
There used to be fares for Sandringham and Heacham but think they arent available anymore
Also there was through tickets to Burnham Market and Wells Next Sea but you cant buy them online any longer...
