Hopefully the 172s shouldn't be too long though...from what I've seen the 150s are suffering from a fair few faults recently, with lots of shortforming, and a second 153 out today to make a 150/1 up to three cars.
It was 150009...travelled on 15:54 Shrub Hill to New Street...didn't like going up the Lickey on bit, the noise was awful :-x...and it went via Camp Hill.
After the 16:49 to Hereford, it forms a return service to Dorridge via Snow Hill.
unless they plan on locking one unit out, think it will be a HST as this service calls at Dawlish and Teignmouth, where double voyagers cant be accommodated.
am booked on the 0942 Bham N Street to Paignton, and the seat reservation system is showing it as a HST (unless there is a voyager out there somewhere with six coaches).
any ideas as to why FGW 150 234 is currently at tyseley depot. seen is earlier when passing on a chiltern service. it is parked up next to a LM 170 (i think)
There is one northern service per day (only on weekdays) via Derby in one direction. It runs between Nottingham and Sheffield only, and runs fast from Nottingham to Derby, and picks up its regular calling pattern from sheffield i think. hope this helps.
It goes from Worcester Shrub Hill at 1554 to Birmingham New Street calling at Droitwich and Bromsgrove. It returns as the 1649 to Hereford calling norm stations for that service. After that, it goes as the 1911 Hereford to Dorridge via Birmingham Snow Hill.

Theres a 150 on a Hereford on saturday. It goes as the 1556ish Shrub Hill to New Street via Camp Hill line and returns as the 1649 to Hereford via normal route. It then goes to Dorridge from Hereford via Snow Hill.
150s also used to go to Hereford on the weekends when the line via Bromsgrove...
