Sorry to hear that Myrtle. From my time on this forum, I've learnt that persistence is the key. There seems to many many people who have applied multiple times before finally getting through. The TOC's seem to advertise fairly often too.
Hopefully not, i believe the next course is January.
I was just lucky that I taken the OPC stage 2 as part of another application before I had the DMI for this role
I did my DMI at the end of July and got the result just under two weeks later. I’d already done my stage 2 testing on a previous application so went straight into the talent pool. At the interview they told me there would be a course starting October 28th and another one at the end of January
Sorry to hear that Amanda, I started the process last October and over that time have read all your posts and am now in the talent pool. Best of luck for the future
Yes I’m in the talent pool, I applied for the earlier depot driver role and took the OPC stage 2 about 3 weeks ago and had the DMI for this role the same week, just waiting for a medical now. Pay the £60 chalk it up to experience and make sure you pass the interview
I attended the assessment day in July and got the same £100 ticket and I was only 5 minutes over the 6 hours, I appealed to the parking company but got nowhere ended up just paying the £60 discounted fee. Would have been worse if I hadn’t passed the assessment
completed stage 2 phycometric testing this week , the lady from OPS said they were testing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. All that attended with me passed the computer tests and hopefully will find out the results of the MMI next week.
Just spoken to Irene at EMT, she has confirmed that I will not have to attend the stage 1 test next week as i have already completed this as part of the depot depot driver recruitment. one less thing to worry about.
