Is there any likelihood that Northern will take on some or all of the remaining 323s or is that wishful thinking on my part?

I asked the same question a few years back when I saw the unit at Exeter. No-one confirmed 100% but since then I have seen all the other 159s and they all had their correct centre cars so logically although it's unnumbered it is 58728.

Morning all, I am just about to head off on the long journey up to Merseyside today to try and see my last five 507’s. I will start at Southport & get a 507 (hopefully) into Liverpool. Can anyone advise where the following 5 units are working / stabled today – Any help gratefully received...
