    You name it, they do it on the railway! Depends what you are interested in; engineering etc? You will need to be 18 to work any job on the railway.......... Have a look at network rail apprenticeships!!

    Google Network Rail Non Technical Skills, and STAR technique. If you use the search bar on this forum there is absolutely loads of useful stuff about the whole signaller selection process.............

    Ok, thanks. And I think "under consideration for assessment 2" means just that. "Invitation to assessment 2 pending" is the phrase you're hoping to see......

    Most weren't? How many applications have you got running? I ask, because I wasn't sure how many you can have running at the same time, and wondered how NR viewed multiple applications????

    Depends what you want to do. As said, there is pretty much every type of job in some form on the railways. TOC's and Network Rail Jobs would be a good place to start.........

    If you look at the signaller jobs currently advertised, the processes differ; Some are as they were before xmas, online tests, assessment centre, interview, and some say online tests, top scores to interview. It would appear that they haven't got it all sorted yet. Best to just apply, and go...

    Beverley Museum of Army Transport - What happened to the locos?

    Fort Paull still has the Beverley aircraft. It also has a Royal Corps of Transport railway carriage on site. I visited last year and pass it often. Unfortunately the whole site could do with some TLC which is a shame as it is a hidden gem. I would say it's worth a visit when the weather's better.

    Haven't got mine to hand as not at home, but that looks like it. We were asked to mark of as many "restaurants" as we could in the time given. Theres loads, and you'll never get them all, just go as fast and steady as you can and mark them with a cross. Keep going until they say stop....
