  • Hi Emma
Thanks very much for taking the time to share details of the rest of the day, I really appreciate it. Once again I wish you good luck with your DMI, fingers crossed you'll sail through it :) James
Sorry, have to write it in two sections!
I paired all the symbols in the directory as I was able to work a lot quicker that way, and as you say you weren't penalised for it!
That would be handy if it's only a few miles away, my no1 would be Eastbourne but from what I have heard there is a long waiting list!
    Emma
Oh what a shame, you would have missed out on the fault test (exactly like the practise material we got) I think I did about 10 of those in 15 mins. We then had lunch & returned to write a report (it is not marked, but they use it too see if you would need extra training when writing up reports). The rest of the tests were on computers, the first we had to concentrate on a grey square in the middle of the computer screen & every time it turned dark grey press this green button, this lasted 30 mins. Then onto the picture test, where pictures are shown for 1 second and you have to mark down if any of the 5 different objects were in the picture. The last marked test was a hand co-ordination test where you have two levers( up and down, left and right) and you have to guide the circle round the course, trying not to go out the lines. The last thing we had to do which again is not marked was suituational judgement & these questions would be used in the mmi if we were to get to the stage.
Thankyou, it's just a waiting game for the dmi now.
So just to double check you completed the morning but went home before lunch? ...before I start telling you about tests you have already done!?
Which toc did you have the assessment with?
I am hoping to work from Brighton as I live in Eastbourne.
    Emma
    Hi jimjims,
My assessment day went really well thankyou & I passed! I'm just waiting for an email about the drivers manager interview. I do not hold much hope that it will be any time soon as the examiner, when asked how long it will take to hear, said hopefully soon! We shall see!
That's such a shame, but so easy to do :( will or have you re applied?
