With respect this shows a lack of understanding. The Q3 grade exists as a pay band which covers numerous jobs at L.U.L., you do not move up the pay band within this role. Pay rises will be as per the annual negotiated pay rise with the unions.
It is more to do with the back end {if this make sense} which is operated by staff in the London Underground control centre. The program they use still has the overground as one “Line” and the information to station staff still displays this. The system has been cracked to work out what “Line”...
I was not aware that T.F.L did this but no need to confuse matters as this thread relates to L.U.L whereas the bands HAVE historicaly gone up in-line with payrises
Last year being the only exception that I can recall
Any way a new offer was made to the T.U on Friday, confirmed in a letter...
am not convinced about this- the Central Line in particular seems to be operating numerous trains with graffiti in service. It isnt a 'bomb' attack as they are all intricate pieces rather than simple tags which you see in pictures in the O.P., & you know they haven't just been done because you...
I have been reliably informed that despite all these days with network rail having replaced almost all of the signaling infrastructure at the location, and L.U.L P-Way having replaced track components, network rail teams overnight discovered a damaged cable.
R.M.T have historically balloted all of their members on L.U.L contracts even those within service control. The 2014 strikes into Fit For The Future which are the ones what I referred to for the service pattern in my post above included all grades represented by R.M.T.
This time round the...
Historically- even with a full {not just stations} R.M.T walkout you could run a largely comprehensive service.
Even as recently as 2014, on an RMT strike day you could expect to see the Bakerloo running Queens Pk to Elephant - the Central running west of White City and East of Leytonstone -...
Most of the grades and locations concerned already work 12 hour shifts without a meal relief as part of either their normal rosters, or as per custom and practice.

As I said above, there is only enough contingency staff to operate a service for a single shift. It has therefore been...
Of the grades on strike - Track Access Controllers would only affect engineering hours rather than passenger service - Power Control has contingency staff made up from senior managers but only enough for a single shift - Emergency Response Unit always gets covered by their management team -...
Not on the Jubilee line. You may be thinking of the Elizabeth line where some of the screens have push bar to open, but on the Jubilee line they are fixed glass panels.
Jubilee line extension platforms have a kit for the use of appropriately trained station staff which contains equipment for...
