I have also seen First Class get very busy on TPE's more popular services - on a 3 car 185 (Liverpool/Manchester eastbound and v.v.) there is barely half a carriage worth of 1st seating, although you do sometimes get a 6 car. Leeds westbound in the afternoon peak is almost guaranteed to be full.
On a mobile, this can also be achieved by covering over the sensitive info once in white, then once in black, then screenshotting.
Drawing over it only once leaves it potentially visible simply by shifting the contrast up/down.
"Hello mate, I'm just going the shop" or "Just going for a smoke mate" has worked 100% of the time even when I've had no intention of doing either.
