Dear Old Timer. I haven't changed my original report. I haven't gone back and reported this as stolen (I asked the police advise in this matter and was told that you cannot retrospectively report something as stolen).

Thanks Alterego I work for Ofcom so do appreciate the value of staying polite yet firm at all times. I actually deal with a lot of complaint letters myself so I won't mention The Daily Mail.
