They already tried going into The Gyle years ago and all it did was make the buses late and go around in twos. And I am sure Bridgend was already done and dropped too.

All from Drew Wilson Coach Sales in Carluke, seen a comment saying one bus was sold as a non runner and just patched up to get it running. To be fair they did buy two more buses from another source afterwards but the damage was already done and those buses have had problems too.

Traffic Commissioner doesn't seem to bother anyone these days aside from rare occasions, not been the same since the pandemic.

They have not had the best of luck with buses since they started, they bought four Optare Solos to run their timetable (3 required for weekdays and 2 at weekends) and have had various problems since getting them. Then followed two E200s which as you can see, have gone awry too. They're not...

Would assume there would be some changes considering JMB's 42 is covering some of the route now, although just an hourly service. Not sure if it has made much impact though.

That stop hasn't been served by buses in a very long time. Not sure if it will be worth it or not, that car park is never busy and the restaurant is already accessible with the stop near the roundabout too.

Seems they must think that new Whitebus service is making some money to be taking a lot of their route in. If you go to their own thread you will see that they have been having trouble with getting all their buses on the road and are seeking out replacements...

It's not a SPT contract and 16 seaters are exempt from PSVAR. Anyway it was clearly a stop gap to keep a service running rather than it being skipped out. Maybe they will buy a fifth service bus at some point.

Need to see what happens with the City of Edinburgh Council tendered services they have in the coming months whether they retain them, gain more or lose them altogether. If they lose them, no doubt there will be some changes taking place. Whether that involves increasing the airport service or...

They bought four Solos for the route so assume there have been breakdowns going on and that's what has been available to replace it. The timetable needs three buses on it Monday to Friday and two at the weekend.

More on about when is the earliest start time you could do in one shift with all the drivers hours and breaks and the finish time for that.
