    Well the balance on my Oyster was £89 when I touched out at Heathrow (off-peak railcard Z3-6). I'm not sure what should have happened if the refund was successful but it looks like it wasn't. I will check Oyster online later, and update this thread when I return to the UK in a month or so.

    No, because this will cost me £1.45. Furthermore, since the refund is £2, it would still cause my Oyster to go over £90. I thought they would mail me a paper voucher, which is what happened in December 2013. If they had taken a day longer to process the refund - well, I'd have to contact them...
