i am going for an interview on thursday as a rail technician, what sort of questions will i be asked? What should i wear? What is the pay likely to be?

Thanks, just a bit worried as im coming from the motor trade so dont have any rail experience, but i know id pick it up quickly if i got the job, just want to be as prepared as i can for any questions they might ask.

I’ve applied for a few technician jobs and passed the first test, a basic mechanical reasoning test. My application now says im under consideration for second test, what will this likely be?

i am a motor mechanic to trade with 13 years experience and currently finishing up a year long course in HNC Manufacturing engineering. What are my chances of getting a job on the rails as a technician/engineer? My local depot would be polmadie.
