I think the Alton thing is a quirk of how they represent the timetable - there's no key as to what 'e' & 'f' actually means, (I was initially concerned too as I live in Alton), if you look at the morning peak for example, the 07:10 (replacing the 07:14 which I'd normally use), arrives in Woking...
