GWR Class 150 on the Cornish Main Line in First Great Western livery

Was on the blue 150 today (150219) from Truro to Plymouth today (and I much preferred it to an IET!!) Is it the last train in FGW colours and interior?

    Train Seat Guide

I think I have a good tip for those who don't know to identify the best seats on an electrostar e.g. Compin seats that are sprung: If the poles in the vestibule bend straight down (more common with 2+2 seating than 3+2), where it is 2+2 seating, the seats are sprung. If the poles in the...

    Your favourite seating position

My favourite seating is at the very end of carriages, especially if the doors are 1/3s 2/3s and I sitting below the pantograph.

    Train Seat Guide

Can someone answer the following: 1. Are those are Compin seats? 2. What sort of ironing board seats these are? 3. What type of seats these are as they do not look like Ashbourne seats? Sorry for the large pictures as they are not mine and from Wikipedia.

Is there going to be a class 377/5 refurb?

I have changed the title. Didn't quite know what to title it at first.

Is there going to be a class 377/5 refurb?

Are southeastern going to refurb the 377/5s they recently got as it makes sense as I rekon that the Class 375 refurb has (I think) finished and the two classes are similar?

    Time warp PIS?

With some PISs e.g. Class 375(/377), when it is not fully broken, you can manually add a static message such as "Train is for Cannon St".

    Affinity for a particular station

Tonbridge gets a little interesting when engineering works happen; London stoppers terminating on plat. 4 and Country-bound services using plat. 2 when going down the Redhill line fast. Can remember getting a green (Southern) train from High Brooms to Tonbridge. Must of been 2008.

    Train Seat Guide

All very good so far. Still have a frew questions as I live in the Southeast. What about MK1 Electrostars e.g. Class 375? And what about a Networker, they seem to have very similar seats to Ashbourne? Also class387, I like the way that you do it.

    Train Seat Guide

Can anyone help me? Whenever you guys talk about seats, all you say is the type of seat e.g Grammar etc. this means nothing to me as I have no idea what trains to find these on. Not even a guide on the web. Can you create a guide for each class (and subclass in cases) with a picture and a name...

    London Bridge reconstruction works

I can remember as a child going up to London Charing X and stopping between New Cross and where the Southern lines come in and being told by my parents that it was to change to the 'London Tracks' and that we had to go slowly on them as they were old track and the other reason of waiting for an...

    Guess the Train...

It is indeed, having Tonbridge as my home station kinda restricts me in terms of rolling stock.
