I see the worrying from possible trainees is still the same, i was in that position last year, done all assessments, done all interviews and the likes. Like some of you i got placed on the 'waiting list' thinking that i never had a hope in hell and that was maybe theyre polite way of saying...

I went through all the stages right to the end and got put into a talent pool, after 8 months I hard back from them and got a job, don't give up its a long process so stick it out. Now I'm currently half way through my training as a driver. Best of luck guys.

Dont get into too much detail about depots and stuff they won't ask you that, they just want to know about you, what you do, what your about, what life experience you've have etc. I'm currently a trainee and take this advice, its a fantastic job with a ****load to learn, don't fill your brain...

Went well, first day consisted of admin work getting contracts handed in, travel pass I'd etc in and getting uniform sizes. Rest of the week was Fire Training at Yoker, First Aid, AC Electrified Lines and touched on Track Safety. Starting PTS tomorrow so its all going good! Good luck to you all.

Well, Passed the medical and disclosure came back clean (as I knew it would), should receive my contract in the mail today. Start date for me is the 29th of June. Happy as Larry :D --- old post above --- --- new post below --- would also just like to take this time to thank everyone and anyone...

Nice one mate :) ive just sent my disclosure away so Sandra will recieve it next week same as my medical results so you never know I might be starting in the same pool, she said to me June though so might be a week or 2 after :) well done man!

Wee update guys, not been on this since last year, after going through all the assessments and stuff last June and being put on hold I got an email from Sandra asking me to call her asap, when I got in contact with her I got a conditional job offer - conditions being that I pass my...

Just a waiting game now then, hopefully receive a call at somepoint!

Cheers jydo, never thought I'd stand a chance at 22 but proves anyone can do it if they apply themselfs! Hopefully no too long till a job offer, just glad the results stand for 3 years!
