Hey folks, I wasn't sure if there was already a thread to see whether anyone else has been on bizarre formations of passenger trains across the UK rail network. I seem to be on a Norwich "express" operated by an trio of 755's forming 11 cars???
Are there any others that people have travelled...
About a decade ago, I had a morning meeting in Manchester, of which I had been stressing about the night before. Fortunately, it went well and I decided that I'd have time to have a little nap at home in Warwickshire before heading to work in Birmingham that evening.
I caught the next XC...
@pelli thank you for breaking the options down. I currently have a super duper pass and appreciate the clarification on the terms of travel with the Citymapper Pass.
I have to ask, does the train have to stop at Goodmayes for example on the split options?
Appreciate the help everyone!
It would solely be for travel between Rayleigh and Canary Wharf via Stratford on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays arriving by 9am
I have an existing Zone 1-2 travel card (Citymapper Pass) which covers upto Boundary Zone 2
Hope that helps
I was trying to calculate the cost of commuting upto three times a week to Canary Wharf in the cheapest way possible.
I remember 14 years ago being able to get an out of boundary ticket on top of a zone 1-6 travel card to Gravesend.
Hey, I was wondering whether there was a way of finding out of boundary tickets and their relative fares as all searches lead me down dead ends.
I was looking at how much it would be to commute from Rayleigh to Canary Wharf.
Is it still possible to get an out of boundary ticket?
Thanks
I couldn't agree more.
There's something about a sign on a black background that I just find minimalist yet visually appealing (like the old London Midland signage)
Just an update for those who may be travelling along the ECML :
I've just received a message to say that 4 of the class 92 + mark 4 sets in storage will be coming into action for LNER as a result of the 80* being out of action whilst engineers check over the remaining trains.
I'm wondering...
Unfortunately, LNER have stated that "a new reservation must be made before travel" however, journeys can be made until 16th May as a result of the disruption caused.
