I was not talking about your post specifically but everything on this thread , passengers can not stay on train, no taxis available, no buses available, train goes and leaves passengers stranded driver can no longer drive the train it goes on and on, that train must have gone some.where but so...

And where did the train go when it left the passengers stranded in the middle of nowhere, if it went back to nearest depot could the pax not been taken as well.

I think if they were fined 50 grand for every stranded passenger much of this would stop.

Must be far more pax for Man though , surely a connection could have been held somewhere to resolve this , I see up thread that this was possible at both Crewe & Preston.

Could they simply not have run the Preston service via Manchester. Problem solved , but I think I know what the answer to that will be.
