Apologies if this has been posted before, but yesterday I noticed that there were now two clocks at St Pancras, with the new Dent one in front of the original.
The new clock is Black with silver markings, other than that it is the same design as the earlier one.
I have a picture but I think that I have to go through somwhere like photobucket to post here.

It is the latest instalment of the Terrace Wires art project:
http://terracewires.com/
One More Time is conceived to invoke meditative thoughts on the passage of time, life and mortality: “The clock is the most conscious focus of a railway station, a dominant force. Everyone is watching the clock, checking if they are late. The piece will introduce the idea of a parallel frame of reference, that of a slower astronomical time.” (Cornelia Parker RA) The artwork is made with DENT London Clocks, manufacturers of the present clock at St Pancras and the Great Clock in the Elizabeth Tower, commonly known as Big Ben.

Cheers JaJaWa.
You can see Sir John Betjeman wondering what is going on. :)

At least they show the same time. Or has one of them failed to take account of last week's "leap second"?

In times of "Austerity" it's nice to know that public money is still available to put one clock a few feet in front of another clock :|

What public money? St Pancras is owned by HS1, which is not public.
From http://highspeed1.co.uk/about-us:
HS1 Ltd is the owner of the stations along the route, including the magnificently refurbished St Pancras International.

HS1 Ltd is jointly owned by Borealis Infrastructure and Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, two Canadian pension funds.

Too subtle.

There are some info boards about the art installations on the upper level, alongside the Eurostar platforms.
