Hello everyone,

hopefully this is the right place to post it!
I'm currently in the midst of a research project focusing on the way rhetoric potentially changes after major terror attacks.
I have tried the BBC (to no avail), Sky News footage is available online, so I am now taking this recourse in the hopes of finding someone who could provide me with BBC footage from July 7th 2005.
I realize this may be a long shot, but trying is better than not asking and regretting it.
Thank you very much in advance,
Sam

You might want to try YouTube - you'll find a few (unofficial) clips there.

Hello GusB,

thank you very much for responding. I have tried Youtube, naturally, but I am not looking for mere video clips I would appreciate a longer look at the day (and the news) as they unfolded.
Since you sometimes find help in the "strangest places" (I realize that this is a Train Forum and not primarily for people talking about or focusing on news or carnage), I thought I would try my luck here.

CNN might be a possibility, don't know if they covered the attacks. Another possibility might be whoever does the news on ITV

There is a BBC documentary of almost an hour available on YouTube which, from what I can remember of it (I saw it on TV when broadcast) contains a lot of footage they broadcast on the day, and some later analysis. Unfortunately, it appears to have been uploaded by a conspiracy theorist i.e. his comments that it could have been ordered by the U.K. government, but none of that rubbish should be on the video itself.

I'm also fairly certain that, as with 9/11. at least one DVD was produced within a few weeks of the events. I believe I saw it on sale in W.H. Smith, but I'm not 100% on that.
