Any drivers on here commute from Milton Keynes to Euston and if so, what is it like getting to from Euston very early morning or very late (after midnight).

Seems like half the depot commutes from Milton Keynes :D
I don’t live there myself though but seems like a reasonable place to commute from judging by the amount of drivers that live there.
At Euston, there is a taxi agreement as well for the very early starts/ very late finishes.

I would like to look at a typical Links Base Roster if you are able to help!

There is a Virgin chap I see on a regular basis commuting to/from work with Virgin on the Marston Vale line. Obviously he cant be doing that every shift but it clearly works for him.

You will have to drive to MK/Bletcho some/most of the time ( especially Sunday or late/early turns) but I see the chap often enough that it must work for him.

I have never risked it. i tend to overnight for an early flight.

I think it is likely to be quite a reliable train. It runs directly off the 0134 off Euston with the same crew (I think), the cancellation of which is quite unlikely because it is the last train for some hours, and only really on Friday night/Saturday morning is there a substantial chance of it being taken out of service due to antisocial behaviour on the "vomit comet". AIUI it is cleaned at MKC before going south again, so even if there was some such issue it might well not cause a cancellation.

Also there's barely anything else out there to get in its way.

I used the 05.13 (05.11 as it then was) from Watford for a while. It always stopped at Queens Park, where a couple of guys (LU, I suppose) would get off every day. I guess the 03.30 ex MK may well also stop there? Not shown as a stop on RTT though.

I believe those stops were withdrawn a while ago, though I could be wrong.

If the 0331 as it was in my day went wrong , the impact on LUL and a shed load of other operators , freight included could be drastic.

For a while the inwards working off the down drunkards train was swapped for a "clean" set off BY depot.

Similar to Liverpool Street drivers, we'll definitely Anglia ones. They are provided with taxis to/from duty regardless of distance if it cannot be done by train. Dates back to withdrawal of parking facilities years ago.
