Does anyone remember the old south coast Explorer ticket? Depending on which operator you brought it from you could travel from Margate all the way to Exeter!
Arriva also offered a Diamond Rover ticket which allowed unlimited travel on all Arriva buses in the south east, including off peak travel on the then much more extensive Green Line network.
Can anyone think of anymore passes?

Stagecoach Megarider Platinum - unlimited travel on the Humber Flyer from Grimsby to Hull, since replaced with Megarider Humber which covers that route, all Stagecoach buses within Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham, all Stagecoach buses in Scunthorpe and in Hull too.

Hull Megarider Plus - designed for travel to places just outside the Hull city boundary covered by Stagecoach buses such as the neighboring town of Hessle on the 350/Humber Flyer, as of this year replaced with a single Hull Megarider which covers Hull, Hessle and a village called Wawne.

I remember late 80s, early 90s a Cheshire Sunday rover ticket only valid on buses, you could use it from outside the area, but have to board or alight in Cheshire

15 years ago, Arriva had a day ticket valid for the whole of the Arriva network, seem to remember the fare £6.50.

First Manchester day ticket you could use on First buses in West & South Yorkshire
