All I can find is information saying there was an obstruction on the line earlier and that tickets will be accepted on buses. Looking at RTT your train started being delayed at around Forest Hill so I can only assume it happened around there. TfL says there are severe delays between Highbury & Islington and New Cross/Clapham Jn/Crystal Palace/West Croydon due to this previous obstruction.

Only information I can find is that 9D15 has struck a large item in the Surrey Quays area, therefore has caused some congestion all over the place

It would have been good to get some information that was not misleading. I was waiting for a train at Clapham Junction and the signs said it was on time until the time arrived and it was then posted as delayed. Ended up going to Waterloo and catching a 62 bus to Shoreditch. On the return trip at 7pm from Shoreditch High Street it was similar. Train was due to arrive on time then suddently the train changed to out of service.
