Was wondering today who would hold the record for most repainted vehicle? I'm thinking due to reallocation, change of corporate colours or paint refresh and not due to accident damage.

Lothian/ECB 09 and 10 plate Gemini 2s went past me today both in their third livery which seems a lot considering age of vehicle?

Some of the newer, former Skylinks might beat that as they've been passed around a bit!

Any other fleets as avid with the paint as Lothian?

First Glasgow 67856 has been repainted 2 times in a year I think, first it got painted into the new first Glasgow livery and then got painted again into the purple 201 livery and only a few months ago got 201 decals added too.

Almost unbelievably (given the number of vehicles still in Barbie livery) but there are some instances of that around First West of England.

So you have some 2015 Streetdecks that were new in Urban (with a red front for route branding) that were then painted in Mendip Explorer livery and in one case, is now back in the same branded Urban livery after being repainted 8 months previously.

There's a 2012 e400 in 33660 that was new to Devon (via the Olympics) in Urban that gained an experimental Bus Kernow scheme in Cornwall, moved to Bristol and regained Urban but with an orange front for a particular route, and is now in Mendip blue and gold - it's fourth livery in 7 years.

Meanwhile, there are 14 year old Solos and Darts that have yet to meet a paintbrush!

Suspect a Transdev Blazefield vehicle may be the most repainted - for example Dart 705 carried red & cream at Harrogate and Burnley, Spot-On white & beige and Lancashire United yellow/blue at Blackburn before being painted all over black for mobile app advertising vinyls, while the 2004 B7RLEs which have always been at Harrogate have to date carried also carried five liveries - originally red & cream, then white/red with swoops incl. blue (as per the Keighley 662 Shuttle vehicles at the time), mustard and burgundy (or what ever it was described as - gunge and muck I called it) , red/black and now tone tone red.

TrentBartons 801 went My15, to spare to H1 in a matter of a year! I'm sure the former Rainbow 5 Scanias have also had many repaints!

Olympian OMS910W had a few different liveries over the years. The ones I know of are:
- Midland Scottish blue/ivory
- Northern Scottish yellow/ivory
- "Grampian Scottish" green/cream
- Northern Scottish Citybus
- Clydeside red/yellow
- Stagecoach Stripes

Did it ever get the black/white based Western livery, and did it last long enough to get Stagecoach swoops?

Take your pick with the older Go North East stuff. Picking, at random, a 2007 Omnicity, it's now on it's fifth different colour. Some of the old Scania Solars must be on seven or eight.

The 2007 ADL Enviro400 bodied Volvos that East Yorkshire own are on about their 5th coat of paint in 12 years including the one when they were new.

That won't have been a full repaint though, just the purple added on top of the previous livery. IIRC the gold on some of the FSE X35/X36/X37 Enviro300s is vinyl.
