I know there's an old thread hanging around somewhere regarding these applications from early last year somewhere but unable to find it - I applied last year and was unable to attend the assessments in June. I'm surprised today to find another invite in my inbox for February next year, anyone else had the same? Presumed I would have just been scrapped off the list!

They have recruited lots this year, at all depots. They want more for next year, it's just trying to find enough instructors, training rooms, simulator, and facilities ready etc. Am midway through my WMT training, and the whole group is doing great! Any questions, gimme a message!

On the assessment day do you take the dmi or mmi as the email is a bit confusing as per the highlighted bit,
. You will be asked to sit the following assessments on this day: Group Bourdon (Concentration) Trainability for Rules & Procedures Test (TRP 1 & 2) Driver Fault Finding Test (DFFT) and Test of Everyday Attention (Tee-Occ).

The testing session should last no longer than 3 hours in total BUT if you are successful at testing stage you will be invited to attend a company interview with our Driver Managers and the final assessments which include the Vienna Test System (Two hand reaction and perception test) and if successful, situational judgement exercise and multi modal interview.

Is the highlighted bit the same day or when in Watford?

The assessments you take on the first day will be in Birmingham if I remember correctly (although that may vary if you’re applying for a different depot). If successful, stage 2 tests and MMI in Watford. If successful, then it’s the DMI. My DMI was in Birmingham, but again could vary if applying for another depot

Thanks for the clarification just a badly worded email. Fingers crossed for February
